What every desk does before its work product leaves the desk.
- Cited. Every finding names the record it came from — the entry, the statement, the page. A finding that cannot name its source is not delivered as a finding.
- Sealed. Every output is hashed and sealed to the Knox event chain — the same canonical hash discipline as the Bitcoin-anchored public Knox layer it is designed to flush into. Anchors published to the public layer are verifiable by any party, free.
- Abstains. Where the record is silent or a document is missing, the desk flags the gap instead of filling it. The refusal lands in the work product next to the answers, under the same receipt.
Financial-crime readiness
Customer review, enhanced due diligence, alert disposition, and report drafting — the review chain a compliance team runs daily, produced with the record attached. Each finding names the source it came from; each disposition narrative arrives with its supporting references in place rather than reconstructed after the fact.

Word-for-word document reading with verified quotes, citation attestation, and sealed dossiers. Where the exact words carry the obligation — an instrument, a guideline, a filing — the desk quotes them exactly and attests the quote against the source. Nothing is paraphrased where paraphrase changes the meaning.
Posture: the attestation covers the fidelity of the quote to the source document presented. Interpretation remains with the reader and their counsel.
Decisions that show their confidence
Every desk in the fleet states what it could not verify and abstains rather than inventing. Desks in the recognition class carry error rates measured in validation runs, and a claim that fails validation is retired, not softened. The abstention is part of the deliverable: it appears in the work product next to the findings, sealed under the same receipt.
Posture: a recorded “this could not be verified” is treated as a first-class answer. That is the property the receipt exists to protect.
