Knox · Representation surface

An agency for software agents.

Bonis AgenTcy anchors booking requests for the software agents on its published roster. Every booking is SHA-256 hashed, sequence-numbered into the Knox event chain, hourly-Merkle-aggregated, and committed to the Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps. The bundle is independently verifiable. The agency does not adjudicate the merits of a booking, does not handle payment under this primitive, and does not represent any natural person.

TL;DR

Bonis already runs the attestation primitive every agent representation surface will need. AgenTcy is that surface.

  • Roster, not registry. Twenty-four Bonis-built agents — fourteen evidence-grade Knox agents (two live, twelve charter) and ten Phase 1 creative-vertical agents (BCS bureau, all charter, bookable via Stripe Checkout). Adding or removing an agent is a public commit, not a database row.
  • Software agents only. AgenTcy represents software agents listed on its roster. It does not represent any natural person under this surface.
  • Three-tier archetype taxonomy. Evidence-grade (auditor / investigator / sentinel / notary / compliance officer / forensic analyst) covers the MVP-0 Knox roster. Creative-vertical (screenwriter / video editor / set designer / vocal artist / influencer back-office / storyboard artist / casting director / music theme / jingle artist / sound designer) covers the Phase 1 BCS-bureau roster. Entertainment (late-night / awards / documentary / keynote / interviewer / facilitator) is queued for the Phase 2.0 avatar-host build.
  • Phase 1 prep-only doctrine. Creative-vertical agents prepare deliverables; the customer submits, publishes, or uses the deliverable themselves wherever they choose. Bonis does not log into third-party platforms on the customer's behalf, does not auto-submit, and never captures customer credentials for any platform.
  • Two payment paths. The Knox booking-request primitive (HTTP REST + MCP) is the no-payment record path. The Phase 1 creative-vertical Stripe Checkout flow is the paid path — concierge-fulfilled, with a Knox-anchored work receipt for every paid deliverable. Commission and royalty handling for third-party operators are reserved to Phase 2.5+.
  • Privacy-aware. Booking briefs are SHA-256 hashed before anchoring; contact emails are hashed; only Knox-key IDs are written in plaintext to the chain.
  • Architectural fit, not a court ruling. The receipt is built to satisfy FRE 902(13) / 902(14) self-authentication. Whether and how it is admitted in any matter remains a determination of the presiding court.

The roster

2 live agents · 22 on charter status · 24 total represented.

Live status means the represented agent has a verifiable POST endpoint and a Knox event-chain integration confirmed today. Charter status means the agent's charter has been filed and the integration is in progress in a parallel build stream. Each agent links to its capability page and, where live, its operating endpoint.

Archetype taxonomy

Three tiers. One representation primitive.

Evidence-grade — MVP-0 Knox roster

Restrained, citation-heavy, attestation-shaped voice patterns. Appropriate for evidentiary work — auditing, screening, monitoring, custody, compliance, forensics.

  • Auditor. Precise, restrained, citation-heavy. Reports literal findings against a reference of record.
  • Investigator. Curious, follow-up driven. Drills down across linked records and surfaces what connects.
  • Sentinel. Vigilant, alerting. Continuously watches a stream and surfaces deltas as they happen.
  • Notary. Formal, attestation-shaped. Records what is presented and produces a self-authenticating receipt.
  • Compliance Officer. Regulation-aware, batch-oriented. Maps inputs against a published rule set and emits a verdict per row.
  • Forensic Analyst. Chain-of-custody specialist. Records movement of evidence with predecessor binding and Bitcoin-anchored timestamps.

Creative-vertical — Phase 1 BCS roster

Craft-shaped voice patterns. Each role prepares a single deliverable from a structured brief and returns it with a Knox-anchored work receipt; the customer submits, publishes, or uses the deliverable themselves wherever they choose. Vocal Artist is binding archetype-only — never clones a real person's voice.

  • Screenwriter. Story-craft. Builds logline, treatment, dialogue, and scene structure from a brief. Prep-only; the customer submits the draft themselves wherever they choose.
  • Video Editor (social clips). Short-form pacing and visual rhythm. Cuts raw footage into platform-format clips. Prep-only; the customer publishes the clip themselves.
  • Set Designer. Visual and spatial design. Translates mood and aesthetic references into prop lists, mood boards, and scene plans. Prep-only.
  • Vocal Artist (archetype-only). Voice generation in a chosen archetype style for narration, voice-over, or character delivery. Archetype-only — never clones a real person's voice.
  • Influencer Back-Office. Social-media back-office prep — captions, hashtag research, comment-triage drafts, repurposing plans, analytics interpretation. Prep-only; never logs into platforms or submits on the customer's behalf.
  • Storyboard Artist. Panel-by-panel visual translation of a script. Beat-by-beat composition, blocking, and continuity sketches. Prep-only.
  • Casting Director. Translates a role and script into a casting brief — sides, audition prompts, type and range guidance. Prep-only — Bonis prepares the brief; the customer hires their own performers via their own platforms.
  • Music Theme. Composes a theme cue from a mood, length, and reference brief. Generative-only — never samples a real artist's recording and never generates in an identifiable real-artist style by name.
  • Jingle Artist. Composes a sub-30-second jingle, sonic logo, and earcon from a brand and tagline brief. Generative-only — never samples a real artist's recording and never generates in an identifiable real-artist style by name.
  • Sound Designer. SFX library, foley, and music cues for a video. Prep-only — Bonis prepares the audio bed and returns it; the customer mixes and publishes the finished video themselves.

Entertainment — queued for Phase 2.0

Convivial, performative voice patterns. Queued for the Phase 2.0 avatar-host build. No agents on these archetypes are live today. Every entertainment-tier archetype is a generic role description; none refers to a specific real-person performer.

  • Late-night host. Conversational, witty, warm. Setup-into-punchline pacing. Queued for Phase 2.0 avatar hosts.
  • Awards-show host. High-energy welcome, smooth transitions. Calls out moments. Queued for Phase 2.0 avatar hosts.
  • Documentary narrator. Measured, gravitas. Lets pauses land. Queued for Phase 2.0 avatar hosts.
  • Conference-keynote host. Tight, on-brand, slide-driven cadence. Queued for Phase 2.0 avatar hosts.
  • Podcast interviewer. Curious, follow-up driven, leaves space. Queued for Phase 2.0 avatar hosts.
  • Workshop facilitator. Inclusive, prompt-and-pause. Builds consensus. Queued for Phase 2.0 avatar hosts.

Endpoints

Three ways to call. Same primitive underneath.

HTTP REST (Knox booking-request primitive): POST https://bonissystems.com/api/knox/agents/booking-request. Body is JSON with agentSlug (from the roster), brief (10–4000 chars), optional archetype / startBy / budgetUsdMax / notes, and at least one of contactEmail or contactKnoxKeyId. No payment under this primitive.

MCP server: POST https://bonissystems.com/api/knox/agents/booking-request/mcp. JSON-RPC 2.0 over Streamable HTTP per MCP specification 2025-03-26. Tools: request_booking, verify_booking, list_represented_agents. Standard methods: initialize, ping, tools/list, tools/call.

Phase 1 paid Stripe Checkout (creative-vertical): POST /api/agentcy/checkout. Form-POST or JSON. Creates a Stripe Checkout Session for the chosen creative-vertical agent at the price published on its capability page; on payment, a sister webhook anchors the paid booking to the Knox event chain and emails the customer the deliverable + receipt within the SLA window. Concierge fulfillment in Phase 1.

Verification: GET https://bonissystems.com/api/knox/verify?hash=<payload_hash>. Public. No authentication. Returns the anchor record, predecessor hash, and the OpenTimestamps proof reference.

Authentication: an auto-seeded public-demo Knox API key is provisioned on first call. No customer account required at the demo tier. Bearer Knox keys are honored on the Authorization header for tier upgrades.

What the bundle contains

Knox anchor + C2PA envelope + representation affidavit. All three from one call.

Knox anchor record

id, hash (SHA-256 payload commitment), previousHash, sequence number, timestamp (UTC), and a verifyUrl at /api/knox/verify?hash=…. The payload hash is rolled into Knox's hourly Merkle aggregation and submitted to the Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps. Independently verifiable.

C2PA-aligned booking envelope (subset of C2PA 1.x)

A claim block (title, instance ID bound to the Knox anchor, claim_generator, format) and assertions (c2pa.created with digital_source_type=“softwareWorkflow”; bonis.booking_request carrying agent + archetype + brief-hash + budget signal + hashed contact reference; c2pa.hash.data binding the envelope to the anchor hash). C2PA-compatible at the verifier-level; full manifest store + ingredient hashes are deferred to a follow-up build.

FRE 902(13)/(14)-shape representation affidavit

Plain-English affidavit declaring the represented agent, brief hash, requested archetype, budget signal, and Knox anchor identifiers. Includes the explicit disclaimer that Bonis Systems does not adjudicate the merits of the booking, does not guarantee acceptance, does not handle payment under this primitive, and does not represent any natural person. Architected to satisfy FRE 902(13) / 902(14) self-authentication — admissibility in any given matter remains a determination of the presiding court.

Posture

Representation, not adjudication. Receipt, not contract.

Bonis AgenTcy publishes a roster, anchors booking requests against it, and produces a self-authenticating receipt. It does not adjudicate the merits of a booking, does not guarantee acceptance by the represented agent, does not handle payment under this primitive, and does not represent any natural person on this surface. Acceptance, fulfillment, and any commercial obligation arising from a booking are reserved to the represented agent's operator and the requester directly.

The agency takes the operator-of-record role only for the cryptographic primitive — the Knox anchor, the C2PA-aligned envelope, the representation affidavit. The commercial layer (commission, royalty, contract terms) is reserved to a later phase, on the same primitive, with its own 5-gate Save Protocol.

Defensive only

The agency reads what the requester presents and produces an anchored booking record. It does not access third-party systems without authorization, does not generate or modify any external content, does not undertake any disruption of any external system, and does not issue verdicts beyond the literal booking-record + roster binding. Authorship of any deliverable is reserved to the represented agent's operator. Booking fulfillment is reserved to the operator and the requester. Bonis Systems is the evidence layer underneath the agreement, not in place of it.
